Week 4, Day 3

Well, ok, how do I begin. Well up to now I have been working out with P90X and it is such a hard workout. I mean it is INTENSE! I have never had such a workout like this before. I mean, my goodness if it was any harder I may not do it. But it is very good. Today is the first day I have started blogging on this with the exception of Face book and twitter. But I have been doing pretty good up till now. I mean It is very hard but it is fun as well.


So first let me give you the low down of who I am. First I am normally a couch potato. I have not exercized in such a long time it is hard to find the exact time frame. But I can say I used to try to workout. Unfortunately I would find reasons to go and then I would hit my motivation wall and find ways to quit. I first started out at a Gym here in town that was called Barbelles for women. They had a special going for $99.00 for the year. It was a deal. So I told my boyfriend who is now my husband at the time about it and he was willing to help me out. So I started going. Then towards the end of the first month or sometime after that I found an excuse to quit going. Well, I then went again due to the another good special. Well this time I tried asking friends to come along and help me be accountable. Unfortunately that was not the case. My friends quit on me and then I kept trying to go but I found myself making excuses again to quit going and eventually I did. 
Sometime later I found myself wanting to loose weight again. I have  moved closer to the park so I could walk there. Unfortunately I found myself making excuses again for not wanting to walk the track at the park. So I tried again to have a friend go along with me and that eventually failed. So again I quit trying to loose weight. Well now here I am at home minding my own business when a friend of mine from another state was talking about how much they liked this new workout DVD on facebook. So I had to comment. I asked them what this workout DVD was. They responded back and told me it was called P90X. So I decided to think about it for a while and then about 2 weeks later I decided to look for it on the internet. Well I found several sites. then I looked for the pros and cons and the good and bad comments about it. I found mostly good comments and mostly pros and very little cons. So I watched the infomercials and looked at the videos on youtube. Well it surely sparked a renewed interest in loosing weight again. I mean I have a lot of workout DVDs and VHS tapes. But this seemed better and more impact than any I have ever tried before. So I decided to let my husband know and let him watch the youtube videos as well. I eventually talked about it a little here and a little there. But eventually I stopped talking about it and left the subject alone. Then my husbands boss's wife heard him talking about the fact that I want to loose weight. She wanted to sell it to him and he took the deal. he bought it for me and then it was sealed. I have the DVDs from P90X. Now I am in for it. 


Here was what I was at before I started all of this. 


Weight: about 245 lbs. this is just an estimate since I have not weighed myself since the Drs.earlier this year. But I do now have a scale that a friend of mine gave me as a gift. 
Waist: 44 in.
Hips: 51.5 in.
Chest: 45.8 in.
R. Arm: 16.5 in.
L. Arm: 17.2 in.
R. Thigh: 29.5 in.
L. Thigh: 28.5 in.


Well now here is where I am at the moment. I have been working out for 24 days now and it has been a blessing. I have had fun working out with the new DVDs. I am now in my what they call a recovery week. A week of just stretching and cardio workouts. today was Kenpo X. It was intense today. Since I have been working out for almost a month with the new workout videos I have seen a lot of change in myself. I have lost weight and I feel my clothes getting loose now. This is an exciting time for me. So here is the month of June 1, 2011 thru yesterday. 






Day #1: Ok, did the P90X: Chest & Back today I did not realize that Ab Ripper was also today. Feel great. So far so good. This is only the first day though. We will find out tomorrow how I fare. Love you all and have a blessed day. Muah!!! ♥

Day #2: Ok, did the P90X: Plyometrics today. Wow, when I woke up I was a little tender but now that I did the next disc for today I feel like I ran into a brick wall. I hurt now! Wow! I like that. I need more. Love the workout, the pain and the sweating. Lets see what happens tomorrow. Love you all and have a blessed day! Pray for me! I need it. Thanks all. Muah!!! ♥ yall

Day #3: Ok, this is starting to get harder for me. Wow!!! I woke up this morning and was feeling tight. But it felt good. Then I put in the next disk and did P90X: Shoulders, Arms & Ab Ripper X. Wow! I am feeling really tight and I can hardly get to the floor without help or without holding on to something. My legs, arms, abs, thighs & back muscles hurt. Thank goodness I took some Tylenol for the pain last night and I will again tonight. Now it is time for bed. Pray I can still do it tomorrow and lets see how I feel when I wake up. Long day tomorrow. Got a birthday party, dance recital for a real good friend then clean house and another dance rehersal I hope. Then to bed I go to get ready for church Sunday morning. Day #4 & #5: Ok, Saturday I never did the workout. But I did do it Sunday after church and after we ate. It was hard cause I am not able to do some of the workouts. But I felt Good Saturday and Sunday. Did P90X: Yoga X. Although I felt tight and tired today when I woke up, I still did the workout. This one was tough. I felt extremely tired after. So I decided to take a nap. Napped for 1 hr. Then got up took a shower and then I still felt a little tired. Guess that is good. It sure kicked my behind though. Oh well I will post again tomorrow. Day #6: Ok, Today when I woke up I was feeling fine. A little tight but nothing to be alarmed about. Then I started the next disk for today P90X: Legs, Back & Ab Ripper X. Did well in the beginning but it started to get tougher towards the middle and end. Still kept up as best I can. Feel worn out but at the same time I feel good. Still a little sore but that is all good. One more day till this week is over. Ready to start again for next week though. Have a blessed day and I will post again tomorrow. Love you all.

Day #7: Ok, well today was good. Did P90X: X Stretch. Although I can say I didn't want to work out today. I still did it any way. Yay! I did it and I feel good. This one was all stretching and no strenuous exercises. It was well worth the push for me to accomplish this today. Pics posting soon. So now I will start over with Day #1 on the DVDs. Ok, week #1 is finished! I did it and it feels good. Her is the pic of me on my las day of week #1 of Bringing It! These were days 1-7 as I mentioned above I skipped Saturday but made up for it the next day and kept going from there on. Hope you are encouraged by this. Oh and I think I forgot to post about Kenpo X. Oh well, I did it though. Love you all and have a blessed day!

Ok. this is week #2 days 1-7. Same routine. Just pushing it harder.


Week 2, Day 1: Ok, today again I felt like I didn't want to workout again with P90X: Chest, Back & Ab Ripper X. I pushed through it and voila I did it. Feels good to accomplish something that is good for you. Hit the shower now I am ready for the day! I feel Good! Stoked that I pushed through my way for today. It was hard but wit God's help I did it. Yay me! lol ♥ yall and have a blessed day. Pic will be posted on day #7. Today I joined a Lorna's Fit Club and I also joined up with Team Beachbody site. the best workout tracker I have found that has all the Beachbody workout videos and other things on their as well. Week 2, Day 2: It was extremely hard! P90X: Plyometrics KICKED my bootay today!!! But I am finished for the day. Feel good. A little worn out had to revise some of the moves cause my knee was feeling a little sore. But still kept it going all the way. Yay!!! Pumped that I finished! I am doing this all by my self. My daughter watches me and joins me when she thinks it looks fun. that is encouragement for me. Then she told me yesterday "Mommy, I want you skinny and daddy too (Which means ripped). I laughed. But it is what she wants from me and her daddy. Can't help but love it.

Week 2, Day 3: Ok, this is getting harder than I thought. P90X: Shoulders, Arms & Ab Ripper X right after. Oh my, this is tough. I am wore out but I will be fine. I love the fact I am working on muscles that I have never used before until this workout. Now it is shower time and over to a friends house for cleaning and moving. Wow!!! Thanks God for this one. Week 2, Day 4: Well I had a hard time getting started on my workout to day. I did it though. Yay! It was hard but I managed to work through it. P90X: Yoga X feels great but I finished it today. Unfortunately my DVD is not working but I found it on the net. Yay!!! Have a blessed day and I will post again tomorrow! :)

Week 2, Day 5: Woke up early 6:50 am. Hardly ever do that. Well just finished my workout for today P90X: Legs, back & Ab Ripper X and I feel tired and good all at the same time. It is getting a little tiny bit easier now. But, it is still hard. Especially with this fat belly & thighs in the way. Oh well, it will be gone sooner that I think. Have a blessed day & ♥ you all

Week 2, Day 6: Had a hard time trying to get myself to workout to day. I did it any way no matter how I felt. It was hard but I worked through it. P90X: Kenpo X Love it! Week 2, Day 7: Ok, this is the last day of my second week working out. Yay!!! To day was good. It was hard to make myself workout today. But I pulled through again and was determined to finish this week and feel good about the success of it. Today was P90X: Stretch X and it felt so very good. I didn't want to stop stretching once the DVD was over, but I did since I had other things to do. I now feel good. Tomorrow I am going to start over again with the DVD's. I will press play and bring it again in this third week. I will post pics later and on the 7th day of week 3. Have a blessed day all I will post again tomorrow. Muah!!! ♥

Ok, this is week 3 just pushing it a little bit harder this week!

Week 3, Day 1: Ok, today was a good day to work out. Cool weather after the storm made it all the better. But what made it difficult was the fact that my husband called during my warm up and then a friend called for directions and then my daughter wanted something to drink then the dryer beeped cause it was finished then my washer stopped cause the clothes were done washing then it was lunch time. Then I finally got back to redo warm up. Now I am finished with my work out. feel great!!! Yay!!! It felt good to know i am getting better at this P90X: Chest, Back & Ab Ripper X. Yeay!!! I brought It today! I pressed play and worked through it. Now it is time for my second snack and then shower. Then I have to finish laundry and clean house & have prayer there as well. Week 3, Day 2: Ok, woke up early today. Ate breakfast entered it on myfitnesspal.com then started my workout with P90X: Plyometrics for 64 min. Wow, today kicked my fanny hard core. It was intense but I worked through it and made it through to the end. Praise God for strength to go through it all. Now time for 1st snack of the day then hit the shower. Oh the beauty of loosing weight. :) Ok, I weighed my self today and I am now 214 LBs. Yeah baby!!!

Week 3, Day 3: Ok, today was a good day and a very productive day. Ate, then exercised. P90X Shoulders, arms & Ab Ripper X. Wow!!! What a workout. It was and felt very good. Finished and also did the 16 min. Ab Ripper X in the end and Ohhhh it felt good. Plus a friend worked out with me as well. Hit the shower felt better. Tomorrow time for Yoga X baby! Lets Bring It!

Week 3, Day 4: Ok, woke up this morning and did not have any desire to workout and do P90X: Yoga X. Thanks to Lorna and some others I pushed through it and by golly I feel so good now. Ready to hit the shower and my late start of the day. Then who knows. Have a blessed day every one. ♥

Week 3, Day 5: Ok, today was kind of tough for me but I did the P90X: Leg, Back & Ab Ripper X. I got up and didn't want to do a thing. Pushed through it and now I feel Good. Glad I pushed through. Now rest for a moment the hit the shower and eat lunch and do some chores around the house. Have a blessed day everyone.

Okay here it is: I guess you can call this Week 3, day 6.5: Woke up, got ready to workout with P90X: Kenpo X then realized I only had 30 min. to do it all in before waking up my sweetheart to bathe her, dress her feed her and I get stuff ready to the door in time to leave for a wedding. Did it all so far. When we do walk out and get in the car, I cannot put the seat forward cause the motor wasn't working right, then with a lot of crying to God for help to make it work again, and being frustrated at the thing it finally Moved! Thanks to God for being patient with me. Then I realized we got to the chapel 15-20 min. early. WOW!!! Do you know how grand that is to finally be early for something. It felt great! Then once the wedding was over I picked up my husband from work and went to Super Walmart and picked up some stuff then came home. Fhew...!!! What a day. But at least I still snuck in some excersize while I was at. Yay!!! What a blessed day and to make it all better my little one was wearing almost the same style of dress as the bride. Go figure since she is the flower girl. lol Have a blessed day every one. muah!!!

Week 3, Day 7: Ok, finished week 3 and I feel good. I have eaten not too well for a couple of days. But Now I am back on the ball again. I know it is good for me. So All this stretching is making me feel good. Need shower then vacuum the house and wash dishes and counters. Then book discussion/prayer group. Have a blessed day all and I lost 2 lbs. this week since I last weighed. Yay a total of abt. 33 lbs. lost.

This is my 4th week: It is here! This is my recovery week. I am so looking forward to this week! ♥

Week 4, Day 1: Ok, since today and the rest of the week is recovery week I feel good already. Today was P90X: Yoga X and I feel better already and I feel like I can stretch out more since yesterday! Praise God for helping me along this past week. It was very hard and I felt like I didn't want to go any further. I finished and now for a new week. Yay! Have a blessed day and post again soon. Well today is hard for me to get my self off my behind and just get going. Need to exercise. Feel Too tired and lazy. Wish I had more energy in the mornings. ugh!!! get up, Get Up, GET UP!!! This is what I keep telling my self but do I do it. No, eventually I will. Can someone come over and help push me off the couch! I need some motivation today! This stinks when you want to workout but your body is telling you No Way!!! What do you listen to? Your body or your heart & mind?

Week 4, Day 2: Ok, today was real hard and tough on me. I pushed through all thanks to Lorna. It was P90X: Core Synergitics. My gosh I thought Kenpo X and legs, back and Ab ripper kicked butt. But Ohhhhh Noooo! That is not the case. This one kicked my butt like never before! Ouch! Well I managed to pull through and bring it with a little bit of a pause in the middle of it due to feeling a little light headedness. But my goodness. I feel like Jello now, well that and I also feel better knowing I pushed play and Brought It!. Have a blessed day everyone. ♥ yall.

Week 4, Day 3: Ok, today I woke up and fell sore all over. But I knew P90X: Kenpo X is today so I pushed through and did it the best I could without any pauses. Yay! Now I need to relax for a moment before I hit the shower. Wow, I am kickin' this fat and takin' names! I feel so very good now that I am pushing through. I think I may have found & hurdled my first wall yesterday but I won't know until Week 5. Have a blessed day everyone and post again tomorrow! ♥ yall Muah!!!
